On October 28, CBS Corporation and Netflix announce that Netflix snared the rights to start streaming Dexter, a Showtime production.
Dexter On Netflix Is A Binge Watcher’s Dream
Dexter, a binge-watcher’s dream, is set to be available to Netflix subscribers on a streaming basis starting on October 31, which is also Halloween.
The series ended its run on Showtime this fall and all eight seasons are set to be available on Netflix, the first four seasons available immediately with the last four coming at viewers in January.
According to a CBS press release, Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer for Netflix, said, “”We’re thrilled to have ‘Dexter,’ one of SHOWTIME’s highest-rated shows on Netflix, and so quickly after it completed its record-breaking run,”
Some seasons of Dexter were previously available on disc from Netflix, but now viewers can get a belly-full of blood, guts, tension and a very charming Michael C. Hall, who played the titular role.
